Support a patient or family
The cost to see the doctor at our clinic in Honduras is approximately $6, including the cost of seeing the doctor and most medicines our patients need. A donation as small as $25 allows 4 separate patients to receive needed care – giving health and healing to a family of four who otherwise would go without.
Support our medical / dental clinic
Currently, our total clinic budget comes from a handful of supporters, allowing us to operate 3 days per week with a doctor, a dentist, and limited support staff.. Our goal is to get back to 5 days a week, Funds for salaries, supplies and overhead must be continually raised through contributions. The good news is, in Honduras, this operational healthcare facility operates for a fraction of what it would cost in the US.
Sponsor a medical missionary
The missionaries that join on on our yearly mission trip pay for airfare, hotel stay, and team fees totaling approximately $2,000. Every year there are folks that feel led to join us, often qualified medical professionals, but the financial burden is too great. Maybe you do not feel called to be ” boots on the ground” with us but please prayerfully consider sponsoring a missionary.
Sponsor our well drilling program
Mountain of Hope has drilled over 100 fresh water wells in Honduras over the past 20 years, providing clean drinking water to poor villages and saving countless lives. Our cost to bring clean water to these communities is approximately $5,000 per well. Monthly donations help us pay the local workers who we employ to help drill wells, and support the upkeep of our well drilling equipment.
Help restore Angelica's eyesight
Angelica is a young lady who had a very rare side effect of a medication she was taking that left her blind. She is currently awaiting a procedure called an OOKP that should restore her vision. The doctors have agreed to perform the surgery but the cost of her hospitalization needs to be covered. The completion of the procedure requires 2 operations and 2 hospital stays costing approximately $55,000.

Thank you for your interest in supporting Mountain of Hope. 100% of every donation goes directly to fund the Mountain of Hope clinic and clean-water projects. All Mountain of Hope officers and directors serve without compensation. Medical and dental mission team professionals, and all other U.S. mission team members are unpaid volunteers, and pay for their own transportation, lodging and meals when traveling and serving in Honduras. ALL of your donation will be spent to directly impact the health and well being of the villagers in Quince de Enero and surrounding villages. That is our pledge and our promise to you.
